Welcome
to the Southwest Virginia Historical Preservation Cooperative web
site. Our goal is to preserve everything possible that has
historical value to Southwest Virginia, no matter how small or large its
significance.
We
have begun the process of trying to index every cemetery in Southwest
Virginia for historical and genealogical purposes. It is our mission
to do everything humanly possible to keep the memory and the story of
every one of our ancestors alive long after they've passed.
In
the coming months we will be adding volumes of valuable information to
this site to assist those searching for history in this story-rich region
we call Southwest Virginia.
