The Historical Society's new logo is an original work of art created by the Society's own very talented former Vice President, and Board Member, Ken Holmes. It incorporates images of historic sailing ships bringing the first Virginia settlers, who explored the Surry side before establishing the Jamestown settlement, and images suggesting Surry's primary products, Pork, Pine and Peanuts.
This logo was chosen from three original designs Ken presented to the Society's membership. It's great! We all thank you, Ken!
