The Society's President, Gordon "Bo" Bohannan, is the fortunate possessor of his father's and grandfather's extensive research into the history of Surry County, Virginia. He has already made available a reprinting of his grandfather's valuable book, Old Surry by A. W. Bohannan. (See the What's New page for a link to information.)
At the September 2002 meeting, "Bo" displayed an old photograph of two Surry Confederate Veterans.
We are pleased to present it here as one more piece in the Surry History puzzle. If you are related
to these gents, or have information about them, please let us hear from you. Contact
"Bo" Bohannan or Eve Gregory
