(NOTE: This cemetery is listed as
the Houston Ward Cemetery

private property more commonly referred to as the Clendenen
Mountain View Ranch. The cemetery is approximately 1,000 feet
more or less West of State Route # 604 on a hill. It may be
reached by traveling about one half mile East of Pattonsville,
Virginia on Pattonsville Road (St. Rd. # 604). The cemetery is

actually "four" different burial plots on this
hill/ridge.
"CLENDENEN -_WARD

ranch. It is separately fenced and visible from the state
highway. Prior publications have listed these graves under title
of "Bell Cemetery." This plot is distinctly separate
on the same ridge/hill within 1,000 feet of Bell, Castle, and
Adams plots to the north northeast on the ridge. The site is
free of overgrowth and debris in summer of 2010. Buried here
