Page County was taken from parts of Shenandoah
County and Rockingham County in March,
1831, the biggest portion coming
from Shenandoah County. John Page was a member of the
first Congress and later a Governor of VA and for whom the county is named.
My name is Katy Hestand and I am the county coordinator
and your hostess for the Page County, Virginia AHGP (American History and Genealogy
Project). These pages are only as good as you would like them to be. If you
have any items of interest that you would like to share that would benefit others
then by all means send them on. All contributions gratefully accepted and all
contributors will be recognized. I do *NOT* live in Page County and do not have
the resources myself to do lookups. I hope you enjoy your visit in these pages.
