Fairfield, SC, who purchased property in Wilkes Co, GA, in 1794.
His paperwork in the land lottery of 1827 states that he was a
Revolutionary Soldier. He was b ca 1760. His will is dated 3 Sep
1827 and was probated 21 Nov 1831. He had two sons, Jonathan and
Jacob, and his will named six grandchildren although his son
Jonathan married a second time and raised additional family.
