Martha Frances Snodgrass, whose maiden name was Moss, was born in Henry Co., NC., July 28, 1861, and died in Downing, MO., March 12, 1913; making her stay on earth 51 years, seven months and twelve days.
At the age of six years she, with her parents, moved to
Grayson Co.,
On the 25th day of January, 1911, she had a paralytic stroke in her left side, from which she never recovered. She had to be waited on like a child for over two years; and, during all that time, she could not use her left arm or leg in the least. The last stroke came on Friday evening, March 10th, and she died on Monday. She never could talk or take nourishment after she received her last stroke. WE had the best doctors, but they could do her no good.
Her funeral was preached from
