Va., May 9, 1855, JOHN CLINE HOUTZ, born July 19th, 1829, Botetourt Co.,
Va., died at Secor, Ill., Feb. 22nd, 1895, (son of
HENRY and SUSAN
(Brown) HOUTZ).
Henry Houtz was a son of John Houtz,
who went from Lancaster Co.,
Penna., to
sister, Hettie, John Houtz,
Jr. was the father of Charles and Sarah
Houtz. Charles married Christina Garst
(see No.*460
<cid:[email protected]>). Sarah married Henry Garst
(see No.*445 <cid:[email protected]>). Hettie Houtz
married David Nofsinger. Their son William married
America Graybill.
John Cline Houtz was a farmer. This Houtz family lived near
where they moved just after the Civil War. After the death of the
parents the children all moved to Albion, Boone Co.,

9 - FRANCIS IRWYN HOUTZ, b. 8-5-1876.
10 - ETHA LORETTA HOUTZ, b. 4-2-1879.
