ROCK, Herman O. Jr., 81, of Falls Church, formerly of Troutville, passed away at home Thursday, May 2, 2002. He is predeceased by his wife, Mamie Adams Rock (1921-1998). He is survived by his children, Helen E. Roberts and her husband, Don, Robert L. Rock and his wife, Lorry, June M. Rock Hale, Frederick W. Rock, John H. Rock and his wife, Irma, Suzanne Rock Ferrell and her husband, Samuel and Carol E. Taylor and her husband, John; 24 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one sister, five brothers and many friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 5, 2002, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road, Daleville where a service celebrating Herman's life will be held Monday, May 6, 2002, at 11 a.m. Interment Troutville Cemetery.
