On the Report of the Secretary of War, printed in 1835 in the list of persons residing in the State of Virginia who have received the benefits of the Act of Congress passed May 15, 1828; appears as follows.

John Watts of Bedford Co., Capt. 1" regt. Va Dragoons, Annual allowance $600; sums received $2560.

Placed on the pension roll Aug. 2, 1828; Wm. W. Watts, ex’r.

Died June 8, 1830.

The Rev. War Agency Book of Va. under Act of May 15, 1828 shows; John Watts, Captain of Cavalry, Ctf. No. 351, $600 per Annum, Ctf. issued Aug 3, 1829. Died June 8, 1830.
