Know all men by these present that I, George W. Caldwell for value received of Hattie C. Caldwell have assigned all my rights and interest in and to the legacy bequeathed to me by my father (F. B. Caldwell) in his last will and testament, and every clause article or thing therein contained pertaining to me from his said estate,  ______ my hand and seal this the 3^rd  day of June 1897
