In the early evening of Monday, January 3, 2005, God called his child, Eva Odella Washington Rose, 70, of Springwood (Buchanan) to rest in His loving presence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Roy, Sr. and Emma Dawson Washington. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 41 years, Clarence Rose, Jr.; sons, Robert "Pete" Rose and Dedrick E. Rose; grandson, Dakota Hunter Rose; sisters, Loretta Crump and Sherry (Eugene) Hill, all of Springwood (Buchanan). The family will receive friends Thursday, January 6, 2005 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, followed by her funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Arlene Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in the Jackson Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, 254-3000.
