CARR, ROLLISON -
My ggggranfather, JAMES CARR, was born in 1794 in the part of Botetourt Co. that joined Monroe Co. in 1800. His father may have been John or Isaac, he may have had brothers John, Isaac and others. His mother may have been a ROLLISON as James followed them to Braxton Co. in about 1825. James was drafted into the military in 1814 and served at Craig Island in the war of 1812. Need info on the Carr family of that time frame in that area.

EDDY, MASON -
Does anyone have any information on the parents of Thomas EDDY and Nancy MASON who married in Botetourt Co 1826? Thomas was guardian to Nancy at the time for the marriage. They were in Botetourt Co 1830 census, and then 1850 and 1860 were in Franklin Co. Some of their children married and lived in Pittsylvania Co but haven't been able to locate either Nancy or Thomas after 1860. Need the parents's names of both Thomas and Nancy. Any help appreciated.
