Mill Fork Cemetery (Closed)

Address: Mill Fork, UT
Travel Directions: Take the US 6 exit (#261) off I-15 heading east. Travel up Spanish Fork Canyon on US 6 for 24.3 miles. There is a dirt road on the north side of the hwy here. Turn up this road. It leads to a small parking area. The footbridge west of the parking area crosses a drainage ditch and the path on the other side leads to the cemetery. (East of railway marker, 1.4 mile up on a hill). Owner: Land owned by US Forest Service.

Pioneers were buried here between 1851 and 1866 When this cemetery was abandoned, James Higinson was Sexton. The bodies of those who remained are Sara Holt Tindral, John Hardison Redd, Elizabeth Hancock Redd, Mary Gardner Sweeten, Helen Whycock McKelly, and the following children, Mary Catherine Redd, John Hold Redd, Mary Moriah Pace, Mary Ann Pace, Lucy Ann Bowen, Julia Susanah Bowen, Mary King, Phoebe Justin Darger, Oran Thomas, Infant Son Rayomond and about thirty five others.

Tucker Cemetery, AKA (Williams Family Cemetery)

Travel Directions: located just east of Tucker Rest Area, at the top of a bluff overlooking the highway. Not visible from the rest area. Requires a hike of about a mile up the hill. The cemetery is enclosed in a small fenced off area. The persons buried in this are very closely related to those at the Mill Fork (Galoolie) Cemetery, several miles west on the same highway.
