George, John, and Henry ADAMS were the sons of John ADAMS (? - 1786) and Mary SMITH (? -1792). George was baptised at Tawstock on 28 Apr 1739, and buried there on 9 Nov 1768. John was baptised at Tawstock on 28 Dec 1728, and buried there on 24 May 1770. Henry was baptised at Tawstock on 19 Aug 1744.

This ledger stone is unfortunately obscured by recent construction, however, the epitaph was recorded by Castel Wrey in his 1928 book on the monuments of St Peter's, Tawstock:

Thomazin ROGERS, the daughter of George ROGERS (1717- ?) and Mary LEY, was baptised at Tawstock on 25 Jan 1758 and buried on 17 May 1768. According to the ledger stone, Thomazin's death occurred a year earlier, but this date is most likely incorrect. Of 31 burials recorded at Tawstock in 1768, twelve were the result of smallpox.

Unfortunately obscured by more recent construction, this ledger stone commemorates Alexander ROLLE who was buried at Tawstock on 25 Aug 1660. Alexander ROLLE, son of Alexander ROLLE, was born in Exeter, Devon on 12 Dec 1612. The will of Alexander ROLLE was proved at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury on 15 Nov 1660.

Johan RISDON, the daughter of Tristram RISDON (1580-1640) and Pascoe CHAFE (? -1647), was baptised at St Giles in the Wood, Devon on 30 Nov 1612. She married James HEARLE (? -1660) at St Giles in the Wood on 17 Nov 1640. Johan was buried at Tawstock on 27 Dec 1662. Her father, Tristram RISDON, was the the author of The Chrographical Description or Survey of the County of Devon.

According to the Tawstock parish register, Katharine LAKE was buried on 30 Jun 1660. Katharine was possibly the wife of Humphry LAKE whose will was proved at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury on 12 Apr 1659, however, there is also a burial recorded for "Joane ye wife of Houmphrey Lake" on 27 Nov 1653.

Grace TAMLYN married John TAMLYN at Tawstock on 22 Jul 1787. She was buried on 7 Feb 1837.
