Winkler County Docket Book Precinct 2
Since Winkler County and the City of Wink was part of the Oil
Boom Era, there was a lot of migration in and out of the county.
I have received many requests for any information that we as local
researchers can find on these migrant families. In an effort
to assist researchers, Carolyn Harrison has transcribed the Docket
book for Prct. 2 which includes the City of Wink. This Prct. 2 Docket book covers Complaints and Warrants starting with 1929 through 1962. A few later years were also in added in, but I chose not to enter them online as some of the people are still living. My intentions are only to help others to find their relatives and not to cause harm, humiliation or embarrassment to anyone. I have attempted to copy this book as it was written by others. If you find any names and/or words misspelled, it is my hope, that is the way they were written. You will find some pages with only the top filled in, this is to help save on space. The rest of the page was not filled in by the J.P. Side notes by (CH-me) are found on some pages indicating the warrant or citation was clipped to the page and is copied in JPEG Carolyn Harrison WINKLER COUNTY PRCNT 2 DEFENDANT INDEX WINKLER COUNTY DOCKET BOOK COMPLAINANT INDEX WINKLER COUNTY DOCKET BOOK PRCNT 2 CHARGES
