Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Grand Saline Public Library was established in 1966 and opened that year on 1 July 1966. It wasn't long before the library outgrew its beginning facilities and moved into the old Missouri-Pacific Railroad Depot in March 1982. Thanks to the efforts of local citizens, the old depot was remodeled, revamped and expanded into a community center. The library has since grown and shows a very healthy annual increase in circulation. It is also a member of Northeast Texas Library System.
