Threadgill Plot
Historic Texas Cemetery


This plot is on private property.  Glendale-Holly Road west from SH 94 in Glendale 0.5 miles to Glendale Road. Right NW 1.1 miles on east side.

This burial was about 1890, after the Threadgill family had sold the land. The son was told the Threadgill family asked permission to bury on their old homestead.  Permission was given. Out of respect for those buried there, the current landowners have for several generations maintained the burial plot as part of the general landscaping of their home.  The Trinity County Historical Commission would appreciate any information forthcoming about this family plot.  The husband of this family, H. W. Threadgill, is buried at Glendale Cemetery.
