De La Fosse Cemetery

This cemetery is on private property.  To find the De La Fosse Cemetery: from Groveton, Texas, take FM 355 to Sebastapol.  Turn left on FM 356 to Onalaska.  Turn left on Hwy. 190,  go a short distance, turn left on FM 3459.  Go approximately 3 miles to De La Fosse Cemetery Road, turn right on that road, go approximately 1-1/3 miles to fork in road, turn right, cemetery is less than .10 mile on left (look for rusty chain link fence at edge of woods).  This is now the Lige Ratcliff Place, where Pierre De La Fosse settled when he came to Texas.

This description was submitted by Mr. Ben De La Fosse for the 1980 Trinity County Cemeteries book. According to Mrs. Ben De La Fosse of Groveton, Texas, the status of this private family cemetery remains unchanged in 1992.
