Terry County Census Look-ups:
To request a
Census Look-up, Follow These Guidelines:
Provide the Look-up Volunteer with a FIRST and LAST name.
Give as much other information as possible. Helpful data
include age (or approximate age), place of birth, name of siblings,
parents, children or other relatives who might be living
in the household.
Please state which census you want searched. If you do not
know which census, give the age of the person or when they came to Texas to help
the Volunteer find your ancestor.
If you have more than one request, put each one in a separate
e-mail. They will be researched as the Volunteer has time.
Don't forget to thank the Volunteer after you have received the information

1880 Census Note:
The
1881 British Census
database online at http://www.familysearch.org/.
When you access their home
page, look down at the blue "Search" Button.
Just to the right of it you will see "Advanced
Search".
Click on that.
The page that comes up will have a list of items on the left.
Click
on "Census" - for searching the
United States 1880 Census.
In the next screen, be sure to
designate whether you are searching
in the United States, Canada or
Britain.
Follow their directions, enter names and other data as requested.
This 1880 census transcription is searchable by the whole country.
It is not necessary to know the section of the country in order to find someone
on this census transcription.
