R. G. “Bob” Strom, 73, of San Angelo, Texas, died at 3:27 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 1996 at his residence. Mr. Strom was born June 29, 1923, in Ballinger, Texas. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the European Theater Operation for three years. He was a supervisor for Harris Auto Supply and was married to Marylene Story on March 9, 1946, in Sterling city, and he was a member of First Christian Church. Graveside service was at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov.1, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were by Johnson’ Funeral Home.
