This cemetery was originally
indexed in 1981 by the late Dr. James Moody Martin.
Genealogical data on unmarked graves was provided by the late Mrs.
Opal Nicholson. Early Settler data was provided by Mrs. J. M.
(McXie Whitton) Martin. The cemetery is located 4 1/2 miles on FM 711. Take a left on a dirt road. The cemetery is approximately 3/4 mile down this road. Recent inquires on this cemetery indicate it is no longer accessible. The road has been blocked. Henson Coulter and his wife, Julania emigrated to Texas from Tennessee in 1835. There are only six monuments in the cemetery and at least 23 unmarked graves. Identities are known on some of these. |
