Brown Cemetery

The cemetery is located about 9 miles northeast of San Augustine on FM 353, very near the Shelby County line.  Turn right on a dirt road, travel approximately 1/2 mile.  It is adjacent to a Kirby Lumber Co. property corner marker #7-214.

At the time the cemetery was originally indexed prior to 1992, there were 5 monuments in the cemetery and 5 unmarked graves that identities are known.
