The following are exact transcriptions of letters and notes
found attached to stubs from which marriage licenses were
torn. No attempt has been made by transcriber to correct
grammar or spelling; handwritten information is noted in
"citation" font. The book is not available to
the public in the Rains County courthouse records; copies
were made from the old ledger that was in storage on the 3rd floor
of the courthouse.
