My inquiry is in regards to John C. Brown.He was born 18-October-1862 in Jackson County, Tennessee. He was the son of Josiah and Elizabeth Sarah (Goolsby) Brown and he had seven siblings: James Madison Brown bn.1855 md. Altha Fox; Richard Alexander Brown bn. 1857 md. Emma Fox; Mary Frances Brown bn. 1860 md. Shields Byers; John C. Brown bn. 18-October-1862 md. Adeline Stafford 21-June-1893; Willis Woodfork Brown bn. 8-March-1866 md. Charlotta Alexander; Martilia Brown bn.1868 d.1871; Andrew Jackson Brown bn.1872 md. Alabama Kansas McBroom; Sarah Elizabeth Brown bn.1874 md. Herbert Lester Harley. The entire family, except for James and Willis, journeyed to Greenville, Missouri in 1893. 1904 the family uprooted again and moved to Weatherford, Texas, Parker County. �1900 Wayne County, Missouri Census� John and Adeline reported having three children; Mary bn. in 1894, Henry bn. in 1897 and Sarah bn. in 1899. He died ca. 1922, but I have found nothing to substantiate that conjecture. Thanks

Am looking for information on the family of L A MORPHIS. He, his wife and two children are listed in PARKER County in the 1880 Census. I believe he died before 1900, but his wife Mary should still be living by then. I don't know if they stayed in the area or if the children lived to adulthood. Send response to [email protected]. Samuel Thomas SHERRILL family moved to PARKER county from TN around 1890. Looking for burial location of his first wife, Mary Elizabeth (Banks) d. 31 Oct 1905, and two of his children, Lucy Katherine d. 11 Mar 1904 / Mary Margaret d. 1908. Mary Elizabeth is a sister to my GGrandfather, James Anderson Banks, and an aunt of my Grandfather, Joe Wiley Banks, who was married in Parker County.

I would like to find more information on both of the above individuals. MILLIE BOYD WAS A D/O BENJAMIN FRANKLIN BOYD/MARY JANE MAHAN. JOSIAH (sometimes referred to as Joseph) was married prior to MILLIE, and had two sons: OSCAR and JUDGE (name-not title). Rachel Serena DENNY, born 16 Jan 1861 in PARKER CO. Her mother was Malinda A. KEY who married unknown DENNY. Rachel's father died and her mother re-married to a W.B. DUNCAN in 1866.
