Young bride
Rev. Ernest T. Mobley of Weatherford, Texas, who has recently been
called to fill the pulpit in the Christian Church in Red Bluff,
will arrive here about the 15th of November to commence his ministerial
duties. The new minister's reputation as a clergyman of great ability
has preceded him to his new field of work and his congregation is
anxious for his arrival.
In addition to this, the young divine will not come to our town
alone. He will be accompanied by his young bride, and here they
will for the first part of their married lives reside. The marriage
will take place in Texas where, owing to the recent death of a brother
of the bride-to-be, the wedding will be very quiet, without invitations.
The young lady of Rev. Mobley's choice is a Miss Irbv, whom the
ladies of Red Bluff will be glad to welcome into our midst. Daily
