Heritage Association



The Mineral Wells Heritage Association was founded in 1974 by A. F. and Patsy Weaver, Frost Bowman, Cleo Bowman, and W. O. Gross, Jr. using pictures of Old Mineral Wells furnished by people of the city. Later, the oldest school building was turned into a Museum by the Association to house memorabilia and as a place for meetings. The Museum is located at:

105 N. W. 5th Avenue, Mineral Wells, Texas

The purpose of the Mineral Wells Heritage Association is to foster and advance public interest in the cultural heritage of Mineral Wells, Texas; to preserve historical information and sites; to collect and preserve documents and related memorabilia of Mineral Wells; and to disseminate to the general public information pertinent to the heritage of Mineral Wells and generally to do all things necessary and proper to the advancement of cultural knowledge and appreciation regarding Mineral Wells.
