Troyce Allen Tullier Obituary

Troyce Allen Tullier, born May 20, 1923, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 3, 2004. Born in Nacogdoches, Texas, she was a resident of Baton Rouge. She was retired from Uniroyal Chemical. She was a member of Greenwell Springs Baptist Church, but had been a charter member of Lanier Baptist Church. She was a member of Joanna Waddill United Daughters of the Confederacy, Col. John Washington Colonial Dames 17th Century, founding member of National Wingfield Society and John James Audubon Daughters of the American Revolution.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oree and Lillian Allen; and her husband, Joseph "Bucky" Tullier. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Terry Tullier of Baton Rouge; a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Martin Young of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; six grandchildren and spouses, Mike and Kelly Tullier, Robby and Jodi Tullier, Scott and Angela Wilson, Brad and Michelle Tullier, Laura and Kevin Gottsponer and Jennifer and Jason Efferson; eight great-grandchildren, Cody, Cade, Katie, Jessica and Samuel Tullier, Elijah and Zoie Wilson and Brock Gottsponer; and her very best friend, Mary Elizabeth Worsham.

Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, June 7, 2004. Visiting at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2004, conducted by the Rev. T.W. Terral. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. A very special thank you to her loving caregivers, Tammy Simpson and Susan Baggett and also, thanks to Southern Care Hospice.
