Tim Edwards officiating.  Mr. Allen was born September 26, 1942, in Broken Bow, OK.  He died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, in Longview.  He was a Vietnam War veteran.  Survivors include special friends, BJ and Michael Wagner of Naples; Mid Shipman Ty Wagner of Annapolis, MD, Tad, Shelby, Kacey Jo and Pepper Wagner, all of Naples; and many friends and staff at Haven Care Nursing Home in Longview.  (NE Row 9)

Harold Wright officiating.  Mrs. Armstrong was born April 19, 1906, in Dalby Springs.  She died Sunday, May 16, 2004, in Naples.  She was a homemaker and member of Norris S. Curry CME Church.  Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary K. Boyd and Willie Pearl and Waymon Boyd of Naples; four sisters, Cornel Walker of DeKalb, Era Jean McGowan and Verline Simms of Dallas and LayDonya Adams of Texarkana; two sisters-in-law, Shirley McGown of DeKalb and Tolethier Petty of Naples; one special friend, Noble Buford; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Todd Perry and Robert �Bob� Armstrong; and one granddaughter, Beverly Pearl Daniels-Turner.  Interment was at Morning Star Cemetery in Naples.  (Location Unknown)

Services for Mr. Kent Beasley, 27, of Omaha, were Sunday, September 19, 2004, at Pewitt High School auditorium, with the Rev. Lanny Peek officiating.  Mr. Beasley was born July 15, 1977, in Mt. Pleasant.  He died Tuesday, September 14, 2004, in Daingerfield.  He was a 1995 graduate of Pewitt High School and Midwestern State University, a team roper and roper judge and a lifetime resident of Omaha.  Survivors include his mother, Marilyn Gage Beasley, of Omaha; his father, Mike Beasley, of Omaha; one brother and sister-in-law, Jamie and Dori Beasley of Omaha; his grandfather, Lester Beasley, of Omaha; his step grandmother, Eva Nell Beasley of Omaha; nieces and nephews, Hailey, Taylor, Bretley and Jace Beasley, all of Omaha.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Irvin and Letha Gage and Laverne Beasley; and an uncle, Irvin Gage, Jr.  Interment was at Omaha Cemetery under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home.  (K Row 7 BL 23)

Services for Mrs. Judy Betts, 58, of Mt. Pleasant, were Saturday, April 24, 2004, at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lanny Peek and Bro. Doyle Hayes officiating.  Mrs. Betts was born May 19, 1945, in Marietta.  She died Thursday, April 22, 2004, at her residence.  She was a registered nurse at Titus Regional Medical Center and runner-up Nurse of the Year in 2002.  Survivors include her husband, Chad Betts of Mt. Pleasant; her mother, Arlene Charlton of Cookville; four sons, Dwayne Rhea, Dwade Rhea, Don Rhea and Clint Adams; two daughters, Lea Ann Johnson and Misti Abernathy; one brother, Wayne Charlton; three daughters-in-law, Cindy Rhea, Joy Rhea and special daughter-in-law, Brenda Rhea; and six grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Charlton; her brother, Gay Charlton; and sister, Virginia Ann Hawkins.  Pallbearers included Danny Charlton, Dusty Hawkins, Rocky Hawkins, Steve Eaves, Marc McEntire, Bill Scaff, Scott Charlton and Bret Charlton.  Interment was at Omaha Cemetery.  (G Row 15)

Services for Mrs. Louise Minton Bond, 76, of Riverview, FL, were Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel.  Mrs. Bond was born Oct. 27, 1927, in Naples.  She died Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, at Plant City, FL.  She was a member  of the Highland Park Baptist Church and former resident of Morris Co.  She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Claude Bond.  Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Eric and Sharon Bond and Brad Bond, all of Tampa, FL; one daughter, Pamela Bond of Ft. Williams officiating.  Mr. Boyd was born October 14, 1962 in Atlanta, to Martine and Delwyn Ray Boyd.  He died Sunday, October 17, 2004.  He graduated from Paul Pewitt High School, attended Jarvis Christian College and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.  Survivors include his mother, Martine Boyd of Naples; three sisters, Veta Boyd and Barbara (Jerry) Boyd, all of Naples, and Iris Boyd of Atlanta, GA; and numerous relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Delwyn Ray Boyd; and one brother, Steven Chris Boyd.  Interment was at Morning Star Cemetery.  (Location Unknown)

Pleasant.  He was a retired employee of Lone Star Steel, member of the First Baptist Church, a veteran, member of  the David Elliott Masonic Lodge and a lifetime resident of Omaha.  Survivors include his wife, Claudia Vaughn Cason of Omaha; three sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Deborah, Joe Mike and Sandi, all of Omaha, and Bobby and Becky of Las Vegas NV; one sister, Nona Jo Clark of Gilmer; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one son, Anthony; and a sister, Patsy.  Pallbearers included John Shmuck, Terry Weaver, Ronald Knight, Joey McCollum, Warren Minor and Jackie Ray Morris.  Honorary pallbearers were Billy Hawkins, Joe Moore, Jerome Elder, Odis Cline, Billy Tob Wright and Ronnie Hawkins.  Interment was at Spring Hill Cemetery.  (NW Row 15)

Chris Fowler officiating.  Mr. Clair was born November 8, 1910, in Indianapolis, IN.  He died Saturday, May 1, 2004, in Omaha.  He was a brick mason, a retired employee of Lone Star Steel Co., attended Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and was a longtime resident of Omaha.  Survivors include two sons, Forrest A. Clair and Lawrence Clair, both of Omaha; two daughters, Lila Clair of Omaha and Barbara Brown of Indianapolis, IN; one stepson, Jack Reid of Lake Jackson; two stepdaughters, Becky Lee of Longview and Roselyn Knight of Clarksville, GA; and a number of grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.  Pallbearers included Rick Cobb, Colton Clair, Michael Clair, Jeff Berry, Aaron Berry and Andy Hall.  Interment was at Omaha Cemetery.  (K Row 4 BL 19)

Coker, Tommy

Graveside services for Mr. Tommy Coker, 75, of Texarkana, were Monday, November 29, 2004, at Spring Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Schreve and Rev. Larry Sims officiating.  Mr. Coker was born Feb. 26, 1929, in Naples.  He died Tuesday, November 23, 2004.  He was co-owner and president of Coker Buck for 40 years and later acquired Jeep, and a former member of the Buick Dealer Twenty Group.  He was a member of First Baptist Church, Moores Lane, a Shriner, a 32nd degree Mason, airport authority, past president of the Daingerfield Chamber of Commerce and was active in the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce.  He attended Kemper Military School in Boonville, MO, and University of Texas.  He was a veteran of the Korean War and member of 522nd Fighter Squadron.  Pilots of the 522nd Fighter Squadron were hand-picked from all over the USA, and were some of the first pilots trained to drop the hydrogen bomb.  At that time they were part of the Strategic Air Command which was under the command of General Curtis LeMay.  Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Louise Nance Coker; aunts, Mary Coker of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Fred Coker of Ft. Worth; sister-in-law, Pat Coker of Texarkana; nephews, Mike Coker of Tyler and Jack Coker of Texarkana.  He was preceded in death by his son, Rick, his mother, father, and brother.  Pallbearers were Sim Burgess, Will Burgess, Ben Ed Burgess, John Burgess, Steve Burgess and Holt Parsons.  Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Jimmy Leeves, Dr. John Dodge, David Malaby, Dr. Ben Floyd, Harold Connor and Dr. Billy Tompkins.  (NE Row 6)

Evans Jr. and Shenard Cedrick Evans; one daughter, Shanika Evans; four brothers, Joe Evans of Naples, Robert Evans of Omaha, William Evans of CA and Gale Evans of Houston; one sister, Lameatha Bowdre of Prairie View; and a number of nephews and great-nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister and one brother.  Interment was at Reynolds Cemetery. Everett was born Nov. 4, 1920, in Morris Co.  He died Dec. 23, 2004, in a Longview hospital.  He had served as pastor at Hughes Chapel Baptist Church at Hughes Springs, and was a member of the Unity Association.  He served in the US Army during World War II.  Survivors include his wife, Bennie C Everett of Omaha; one brother, James W Everett of Dallas; two sisters, Mary L Davis of Ft. Worth and Bernice Banks of Daingerfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Burial was at Rivers Cemetery in Daingerfield.  (Location Unknown)

Pleasant.  She was a store owner in Odessa.  Survivors include one brother, Bob Woods of Arlington; two sisters, Ruby Davis of Columbus, OH, and Charles Etta Bracken of Dallas; sister-in-law, Arletha Woods of Ft. Webster officiating.  Mr. Gamble was born April 15, 1936, in Omaha.  He died Wednesday, February 18, 2004, in Tyler.  He was a former employee of the city of Los Angeles, member of Union Chapel Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, and an Army Vietnam veteran.  Survivors include one daughter, Wendy Lynette Gamble of Arcadia, CA; one son, Kevin Antonio Gamble of Los Angeles; three step-children, Stephanie Johnson, George Johnson and Kim Brown, all of Pasadena, CA; one brother, Charles Hines of Texarkana; one sister, Exie Lavon Webster of Longview; eight grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.  Interment was at Paradise Cemetery.  (Loc Unknown)

Gilstrap, Annie Mae Annie Mae Talley Gilstrap, 92, of Omaha died Wednesday, April 21, 2004 in Omaha.  Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 23 at Concord Baptist Church with Bro. Glen Griffith and Bro. Nolan Richey officiating.  Interment was in the Concord Cemetery under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Naples.  Mrs. Gilstrap was born June 10, 1911 in Omaha, the daughter of Robert L. and Florence Talley.  She was a longtime resident of Omaha and was a Baptist.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Gilstrap; her parents; eight sisters and one brother.  Memorials may be made to the Concord Cemetery Association.

Eddy Glynn Davis Hall, 61, of Ozona, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 4, 2004.  She was born September 9, 1942, in Naples, to Glynn and Frances Davis.  Survivors include her husband, Randy Hall of Ozona; children, Karen and husband Jeff Slagle of Denison, Kelley Hicks of Sherman, Paul and wife, Lana Hicks of Naples, Reid Hall of San Angelo; six grandchildren, Justin and Brittany Vissering and Jordan and Ryan Slagle of Denison, and Austin and Jared Hicks of Naples; sister, Wanda Ramsey of Ft. Wayne, IN; brother-in-law, L. A. She was a nurse's aide and member of First Baptist Church.  Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis DiMaria of Marietta, Georgia; four sons, Terry Hart of Tomball, Gerry Hart of Jefferson, Harold Hart and Jamie Hart, both of Daingerfield; five grandchildren, April Lane of Naples, Toni Binder of Tomball, Amanda Dimaria of Atlanta, Georgia, Garrett and Derrell Hart, both of Texarkana; and four great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Johnson, Jack Carroll Jack Carroll Johnson, 81, of Irving died Wednesday, June 23, 2004.  Interment was in the Concord Cemetery.  Mr. Johnson was born September 2, 1922 in Wichita Falls, the son of Grover and May Johnson.  He was retired from the Dallas Times Herald and was a  veteran of the U. S. Army.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  He is survived by his wife, Ana Johnson of Irving; a son, Gary Johnson of Irving; a daughter, Pamela Johnson of Irving; two granddaughters, Dawn Bloss of Wautaga and Nancy Brown of Hartshorne, OK; a grandson, David Jackson of Clayton, OK; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Grover Johnson, Jr., Earl Johnson, Frank Johnson; sister Elizabeth Cossey.  Memorials may be made to Cypress Basin Hospice.  Arrangements were under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.

Danny Traylor officiating.  Mr. Talton was born August 21, 1951, in Morris County.  He died Saturday, January 17, 2004, at Titus Co Memorial Hospital.  He attended Carver High School, was a veteran of the Army having served from June 1972 to June 1975, was a member of Brown�s Temple Church and a lifetime resident of Morris County.  Survivors include two sons, Kendrick Talton and James Richard Talton, Jr.; two daughters, Kristi Pearson and Precious Talton; seven brothers, Melvin Johnson, Alvin Johnson, Earnest Ray Johnson, Lawrence Johnson, Tommy Johnson, and Alonzo Johnson Barner; six sisters, Dora Rockwall, Lessie Ventry, Versie Handy, Lou Lewis, Mickey Easter and Jeannie Mason; and seven grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father, Hosie Johnson; his mother, Rosie Ann Wilkerson; and a sister, Bobbie Jean Johnson.  Interment was at Reynolds Cemetery. Services for Mr. Freddie Tarver, 50, of Naples, were Saturday, December 11, 2004, at Morning Star Baptist Church.  Mr. Tarver was born August 13, 954, in Naples.  He died Sunday, December 5, 2004, in Naples.  He was a US Army veteran, a member of Brown�s Temple CME Church and a longtime resident of Naples.  Survivors include one son, Corrie Tarver of Plano; his mother, Hazel Porter of Naples; six brothers, Oneff Tarver, Sr. of Dovavill, GA, Charlie Tarver of Dayton, OH, Hurley Tarver of Naples, Billy Tarver of Detroit, MI, Adrian Porter of Longview and Geramy Porter; two sisters, Arnetta Betts of Dallas and Tammy Caldron of Downey, CA; and two grandchildren.  Interment was at Morning Star Cemetery.  (Location Unknown)

Services for Mrs. Rose Evalyn Vissering Tomberlain, 89, of Naples, were Thursday, September 16, 2004, at First Baptist Church in Naples with the Rev. Barry Brown officiating.  Mrs. Tomberlain was born February 26, 1915, in Gabwell, Red River Co., near Clarksville, the tenth of twelve children born to Lillie Nora and Harry James Vissering.  She died Tuesday, September 14, 2004, in Little Rock, AR.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Naples, was a Sunday school teacher for 60 years in Atlanta and Naples First Baptist Churches combined, a 55-year member of Eastern Star, a charter member of Amity Study Club of Atlanta, past president of the Pewitt PTA, Naples Garden Club, and an election judge for the Naples precinct until the age of 84.  Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Pat and Sue Tomberlain of Atlanta; two daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and Frankie Manna of Daingerfield and Lillian Johnson of Naples; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Tomberlain, two daughters, Charlotte Tatum and Martha Cudd.  Interment was at the Vissering Family Cemetery.  (Row 3)

Tosh, Jimmy Dale

Services for  Mr. Jimmy Dale Tosh, 62,  of Omaha, were Friday, September 30, 2004, at First Baptist Church in Omaha with the Reverends Dwaine Higgins and Neal Thornburg officiating.  Mr. Tosh was born December 5, 1941 in Mt. Vernon, TX.  He died Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at his home in  Omaha.  He was a truck driver and a former employee of T&N.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Omaha;  had served in the US Air Force, was a member of the American Legion and a long time resident of Omaha.  Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Tosh of Omaha; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael & Jennifer Tosh of Hughes Springs; two grandsons, Zane & Kyle Grubaugh of Hughes Springs; his mother Pat Tosh of Mt. Vernon; one brother and sister-in-law, Sammy & Linda Tosh of Mt. Vernon; one sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Sonny Brown of Mt. Vernon; and a number of nieces and nephews.  Pallbearers included Odis Cline, Ralph Cline, Keith Munn, Ken Munn, Dr. Fred Sperry and Randy Clayton.  Interment was at Concord Cemetery.

A memorial service for John Dillon Vickers, 80, of Omaha, will be conducted Sunday, May 16, 2004, at 3 pm, at First United Methodist Church of Omaha. Mr. Vickers was born October 6, 1923, in Omaha. He died Sunday, May 9, 2004, at Omaha Healthcare Center. He was retired from Ashland Oil Co., and Pinkerton Security, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana, the American Legion and a veteran of World War II. He is survived by Ann and Jack Nelson, and Jenny and Mike McGinnis; grandchildren, Jennifer and Gregg Cooper, Michele and Chad Crutcher; his sisters and brother, Corrine and Charles Womack, Bill and Carolyn Vickers, Shirley and Dale Hunt, Carolyn and Jerry Evans; and a host of relatives and friends. His wife, Mary Elizabeth, and his brother, Vernon Wayne, preceded in death. Graveside service and burial was at Hillcrest Cemetery in Bossier City, Louisiana, on Tuesday

Melinda Beasley officiating.  Mrs. Walker was born January 1, 1931, in El Paso.  She died Wednesday, May 5, 2004, in Longview.  She was retired from Pewitt School system, a 50-year member of the Eastern Star, a member of First United Methodist Church in Omaha and a longtime resident of Omaha.  Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Johnny Robison of Naples and Pamela and Rex Hawkins of Pittsburg; two sisters, Freida Sparks of Daingerfield and Jeanette Johnson of Omaha; grandchildren, Jackie Robison and Clint Mills of Omaha and Paul Mills and Jaime Gabel of Naples; two great-grandchildren, Darci Gabel of Naples and Braden Mills of Omaha.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Walker; her parents Roy and Irma Charlton Russell; and a brother, Billy Roy Russell.  Interment was at Omaha Cemetery.  Pallbearers included Jerry Robison, Mickey Seely, Jesse Hicks, Jimmy Jackson, Ronnie Hawkins, Buck Perkins and Bud Davlin.  (J Row 5 BL 16)

Pleasant.  He was a farmer and a member of the Williams Chapel Baptist Church.  Survivors include one daughter, Bertha Legans of Ft. Worth; a step-daughter, Bobby Jo Gaston of Marietta; 13 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; one brother, A. W. Joe Rivers officiating.  Mrs. Williams was born May 8, 1919, in Morris Co.  She died Sunday, July 11, 2004, in Longview.  She had worked for Pilgrim�s Pride, was a homemaker and member of Mt. Mitchell Church of Christ.  Survivors include her husband, R. C. Williams of Omaha; two sons, Charles Williams and Shelton Williams, both of Omaha; five daughters, Wilma Lene Hooks of Daingerfield, Mary Fields of Mt. Pleasant, MaeDean Flemming, Wilma Dean Chism and Appezene Smith, all of Omaha; four sisters, Hattie Rockwell of Mt. Pleasant, Inez Rivers, Truella Johnson and Bertha Lee Brown, all of Omaha; 28 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.  Interment was at Rivers Cemetery.  (Location Unknown)

Wright, Beulah Lee Services for Mrs. Beulah Lee Wright, 85 of Omaha, were Wednesday, January 28, 2004, at Concord Baptist Church with the Reverends Nolan Richey and Glenn Griffith officiating.  Mrs. Wright was born May 14, 1918 in Omaha.  She died Monday, January 26, 2004 at Omaha Health Care. She was preceded in death by her husband Marshal  (Fotch) Wright, December 29, 1992 and parents Joseph L, (Buck) & Oma Vickers; Mrs. Wright was a  member of Concord Baptist Church, a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Omaha.  Survivors include one son, Richard L. Wright of Omaha; three grandchildren, Cody Wright of Anahuac, Courtney Wright of Trivoli and Justin Lynn Wright of Omaha; one sister-in-law Faye Vickers of Omaha, a number of nieces, nephews and friends.  Pallbearers were Michael Jarvis, Robert Harvey, Wayne Rumsey, Craig  Schluter, Billy Williams and Frank Caldwell.  Interment was at Concord Cemetery under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home.
