Dovie Churchwell, 76, of Omaha, died Friday, April 12, 1985 in the Naples hospital of natural causes.  Services were at 2 pm Sunday, April 14, 1985 at Hanner Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Dean Oien officiating.  Burial was in the Daingerfield City Cemetery.  Mrs. Churchwell was born August 27, 1908, in Titus County.  She was a housewife and a Baptist.  Survivors include her husband, Marvin Churchwell of Omaha; two sons, L W Owens and Harold W Owens, both of Houston; four sisters, Mildred Terrell of Daingerfield, Josephine Terrell of One Star, Ruby Ivy of Gladewater and Lucy McCollum of Naples; eight brothers, Judge Smith of Omaha, Ruben Smith, George Tigert, Billy Tigert and Bobby Ray Tigert, all of Shreveport, Emerald Tigert of DeKalb and George Wilton Tigert of Austin; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

LOHMANN, G. C. (Jerry)                                                                           November 17, 1895 � October 22, 1985

G. C. �Jerry� Lohmann, 89, of Omaha, died Thursday, Oct. 22, at his home.  Funeral services were at 2 pm, Thursday, Oct. 24, at the First Baptist Church of Omaha, with the Rev. Clifford Longino and the Rev. Andy Andrews officiating.  Burial was in the Omaha Cemetery.  Mr. Lohmann was born Nov. 17, 1895, in Ohio.  He was a retired employee of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., a member of the First Baptist Church, a veteran of World War I and a Mason.  He was a former resident of El Paso, and had made his home in Omaha for the past nine years.  Survivors include his wife, Mildred Lohmann of Omaha; one daughter, Nona K Denman of Dallas; four grandchildren, Sam B. Norris III of Tejunga, CA, Martin W. Sample of Tarrance, CA, Kathy Miller and Gay Norris, both of Glendora, CA; two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Benjamin Norris of Tejunga, CA.  Pallbearers were Luke Collier, James S. Leeves, Ed Thompson, H. Morris Stevens Jr., Martin W. Sample and Sam B. Norris III.  (I Row 3)

MCCOLLUM, EARL                                                                                 February 29, 1896 -- October 9, 1985

Earl McCollum, 89, of Omaha, died Wednesday, October 9, 1985 at David Granberry Memorial Hospital in Naples.  Services were at 2 p.m. Friday, October 11, at Hanner Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Clifford Longino, the Rev. John Wheeler and the Rev. Andy Andrews officiating.  Burial was in the Omaha Cemetery.  Mr. McCollum was born Feburary 29, 1896, at Omaha.  He was a retired farmer and a member of the First United Methodist Church.  Survivors include one son, Bobby McCollum of Omaha; two daughters, Mary Ethel Charleton and Genora Whatley, both of Omaha; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren. Interment was in the Omaha City Cemetery. (G Row 10)

SMITH, ALLIE MARIE TALLEY                                                          March 12, 1901 � January 20, 1985

Mrs. Allie Marie Talley Smith, 83, of Omaha, TX, died Sunday evening, January 20, 1985 in a Naples hospital.  Services for Mrs. Smith have been set for 2 pm Tuesday, January 22, at First Methodist Church in Omaha with the Rev. Boyd Carley and the Rev. Glen Griffith officiating.  Interment will be in Omaha Cemetery.  Mrs. Smith is survived by two sons, Ernest Smith of Fate, TX, and Richard Smith of Omaha; four daughters, Mrs. Helen Hampton of Wichita Falls, Mrs. Betty Wagner and Mrs. Nancy Trimble both of Dallas and Mrs. Cynthia Owens of Paris, TX.  Also 15 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Leaves one brother, John Talley and one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Belyeu, both of Omaha.  She was preceded in death by one son, David James Smith.  Mrs. Smith was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and a lifetime resident of Omaha.  She was a member of Martha Laird Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution; a member of Morris County Historical Society, and a worker in the Morris County Museum. She was active in Omaha civic affairs and had been selected to Notable Women of Texas in 1984.  (C Row 26)

TALLEY, NORA LEE STEVENS                                                            May 30, 1891 -- Nov 27, 1985

Services for Mrs. Nora Lee Stevens Talley were held Monday, Dec. 2, at 2 p.m., in the Reeder-Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Hughes Springs, Cass Co., Texas.  She was buried in the Concord Cemetery, following the services, beside her late husband, William Henry Talley.  Mrs. Talley, 94, passed away in Glendale, Ariz. Wednesday, Nov. 27.  She was born May 30, 1891, in Omaha (Concord Community), Morris Co., Texas.  She had lived in Morris and Titus Counties until September 1941, when she moved to Ajo, Arizona, then to Phoenix, Arizona.  She first belonged to the Baptist Church and, in 1944, she joined the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Arizona.  She was the wife of the late William Henry Talley.  They had nine children.  Mrs. Talley was preceded in death by her husband and sons Lester and Loyd, and daughters.  Lois Talley, Lura Carpenter, and Willie Mae Keith.  Surviving children are Oscar of Phoenix, J. W. of San Diego, California, Eugene of Ajo, Arizona, and Jack H. of Daingerfield, Texas.  She is survived by 38 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.  The daughter of the late William Milton Stevens and Lucinda Catharine Cabaniess Stevens, she had nine brothers and sisters and one half-brother and one half-sister.  Four brothers and one sister are deceased, Charlie, William Milton (Bill), Johnnie, Jimmie and Georgia Snodgrass.  The half brother and sister are also deceased.  Odie Stevens and Ola Stevens Carson.  Surviving sisters are Lettie Galloway and Mamie Lilly, both of Omaha, Lula Parham of Mt. Pleasant, and Mrs. Cleora Stevens of Rocky Branch. (NE Row 30)
