(BABE) BOOZER (son of Marcus Lafayette & Paralee Elizabeth (Lee)
Tigert Boozer was born December 23, 1912, Omaha, Morris CO, TX and
died September 17, 1983 in Tyler, TX hospital. Lifetime resident of
Omaha and Naples, TX. Funeral services were at 2: PM Sunday at the
First Baptist Church of Omaha, with the Rev. Clifford Longino, the
Rev. Wayne Cannon officiating. Burial was in the Naples Cemetery.
He was retired from Gulf Oil Company as the Commodore Chief Engineer
of the Gulf Fleet and a Lieutenant Commander in the Maritime
Services during World War II. Serving as pallbearers were Louis
Boozer, Buddy Boozer, Randall Ranes, John Whatley, Glenn Gray and

Dickerson, 69, of Omaha, died Friday in a Pittsburg hospital.
Graveside services were at 3 pm, Sunday, at the Concord Cemetery
near Omaha, with the Rev. Glenn Griffith officiating. Burial was
under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service of Naples. Mr.
Dickerson was born May 16, 1913. He was a Methodist, a retired
engineer, and had lived in Omaha for the past ten years. His wife,
Jane Simmons Dickerson, of Omaha, survives him. They were married

Mrs. Ora M. Hawkins,
a lifelong resident of Omaha, died Sunday, May 1, at David Granberry
Memorial Hospital in Naples. Mrs. Hawkins was born February 14,
1891, in Omaha. Services were at 4 pm, Tuesday, May 3, at the First
Baptist Church of Omaha. Burial was in the Omaha Cemetery. The
Rev. Clifford Longino and the Rev. Glenn Griffith officiated.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. John Whittington of Santa
Fe, NM; Mrs. Paul Smith of Marshall; and Mrs. Jim Moore of Omaha;
two sons, B. G. Hawkins of Omaha and Kenneth Hawkings of Santa Fe,
NM; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded
in death by a daughter, a son, and her husband, who was a
veterinarian in this are. (F Row 9) |

Lela Pearl Key, 93, of Naples, died Thursday of last week at the
David Granberry Memorial Hospital in Naples after a lengthy
illness. Funeral services were at 2 pm, Saturday, at the First
Baptist Church of Daingerfield, with the Rev. Norman Crisp, and the
Rev. Virgil Fielden officiating. Burial was in the Daingerfield
Cemetery. Mrs. Key was born Nov. 19, 1889, at Daingerfield. She was
a member of the First Baptist Church, and a native of Daingerfield
and Morris County. Survivors include two sons, W. E. Key, Jr, and
George Key, both of Daingerfield; one daughter, Marguerite Kennedy
of Naples; eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one

Perris CA and Christine Adams of Omaha; 11 grandchildren; 15
great-grandchildren and a number of great-great-grandchildren. |

officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery. Mrs. Lackey was
born Feb. 17, 1886, at Omaha. She was a member of the Eastern Star
and the First Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Hubbard
Boozer of Daingerfield and Leonard Boozer of Mobile, AL; two
daughters, Viola Mayton of Perris, CA, and Christene Adams of Omaha;

Barbara McEntire, 47, of Naples, died at her
home of natural causes Thursday afternoon of last week. Funeral
services were at 3 pm, Saturday, at the Hanner Funeral Home Chapel
in Naples, with the Rev. Andy Andrews and the Rev. Wayne Cannon
officiating. Burial was in the Wilder Cemetery in Naples. Mrs.
McEntire was born December 19, 1935, at Naples. She was a Baptist,
and a registered nurse on the staff of the Redbud Retreat Nursing
Home at Naples. Survivors include her husband, Bobby McEntire of
Naples; a daughter, Lynn Waits of Naples; a son, Scott McEntire of
Naples; her mother, Mrs. Frances Davis of Naples; and two sisters,
Eddy Hall of Naples, and Wanda Ramsey of Ft. Wayne, IN. (A Row 14) |

Margie Mills, 96 of Omaha, died
Sunday at the David Granberry Memorial Hospital at Naples after an
extended illness. Funeral services were at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the
Concord Baptist Church near Omaha, with the Rev. Glenn Griffith and
the Rev. Clifford Longino officiating. Burial was in the Concord
Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service of Naples.
Mrs. Mills was born August 25, 1886, in Kentucky and was a member of
the Concord Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters,
Johnnie Wyatt of Garland, and Mary Wellborn of Omaha, a brother,
Andy Bufford of Hughes Springs, seven grandchildren, 16 great
grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren. |

Irene Morris, 78 of Omaha, died
Tuesday of last week in a Texarkana hospital. Services ere at 2:00
p.m. Thursday, March 31 at Concord Baptist Church, with the Rev.
Glenn Griffith and the Rev. Rodney Richey officiating. Burial was
in the Concord Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral
Service of Naples. Mrs. Morris was born December 10, 1904. She was
a retired employee of Red River Army Depot, a member of the Concord
Baptist Church and a lifetime resident of Omaha. Survivors include
one son, Billy Morris of New Boston; one brother and sister-in-law ,
Allen and Ovie (Belyeu) Boozer of Omaha; two sisters, Fronie Boozer
of Omaha and sister and Maggie Lee Branch of Longview; three
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. |

Mrs. Hettie
Elizabeth Stevens, 90, born April 23, 1893 in Alabama, died at 2 p.m.
Monday, April 25, 1983 at her home on Route 1, Mount Pleasant. She was
a member of the Concord Baptist Church. Mrs. Stevens is survived by one
daughter, Mrs. Claudeen Cook and one son, Morris Stevens both of Mount
Pleasant; one grandchild, Steve Cook of Austin; two great-grandchildren;
one sister, Mrs. Pearl Fields of Mount Pleasant and two brothers, L. A.
Morris and Luther Morris both of Omaha. Services will be held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday, April 27, at Bates-Cooper-Weems Funeral Home with interment
in Concord Cemetery. Brother James Bell and Brother Bruce Blackstone
will be the officiating ministers. The family will receive friends from
7-9 o'clock tonight at the funeral home. (SW Row 2) |

James W. (Jim) Talley, 66, of Omaha,
died Tuesday, January 4, 1983, at the David Granberry Memorial Hospital
in Naples following a brief illness. Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, January 6, at the First Baptist Church in Omaha with the Rev.
Andy Andrews and the Rev. Clifford Longino officiating. Burial services
were at the Concord Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral
Service of Naples. Mr. Talley was a retired employee of the engineering
department Lone Star Steel Company. He was a member and deacon of the
First Baptist Church of Omaha, was a member of the David Elliott Masonic
Lodge and a lifetime resident of Omaha. He was an active amateur radio
operator in the East Texas area with the call letters of W5MQF. He is
survived by his wife, Maydell Hall Talley of Omaha (b. 1 April 1917)
whom he married 16 February 1935; one son Reggie Talley of Dallas, a
sister Mrs. Mary Lenora Martin of Ft. Worth; two grandchildren Tiffany
Talley and Jamey Talley, both of Dallas and a number of aunts, uncles
and cousins. |

Wednesday, April 27, 1983 at the David Granberry Memorial Hospital in
Naples. Funeral services were Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hanner
Funeral Home Chapel in Naples with the Rev. Jack Henderson officiating.
Burial was in the Concord Cemetery near Omaha. Mr. Vickers was born
June 8, 1896 in Alabama. He was a retired merchant, a member of the
First United Methodist Church of Omaha, and the David Elliott Masonic
Lodge. He was a lifetime resident of Omaha. He is survived by his wife
Bobbie Lee Vickers (b. 7 April 1907, d. 30 October 1998) of Omaha and a
number of nieces and nephews., m. 17 August 1927 , sisters of Bobbie Lee
are Monte Simpson and Annie Gilstrap; Eastern Star Emblem. |

William E. Waits, 66, of
Dallas, died Sunday, April 24, in a Dallas hospital. Graveside services
were at 10 am, Thursday, April 28, at the Omaha Cemetery in Omaha, TX,
with the Rev. Clifford Longino officiating. Burial was under the
direction of Hanner Funeral Service of Naples. Mr. Waits was born Sept.
11, 1916. He was a retired hospital employee, a member of the Baptist
Church, and a resident of Dallas for the past 15 years. Surviving Mr.
Waits are two brothers, Weldon Waits of Highland, CA, and Billy R. Waits
of Patton, CA; and son sister, Gaynell Daley of Salem, OR. (Location

Ned Walker, 74, of Omaha, died Tuesday,
December 6 at his home of natural causes. Services were at 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, December 8 at the Hanner Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev.

the Concord Cemetery near Omaha. Mr. Walker was born Sept. 5, 1909. He
was a retired employee of Lone Star Steel Company, a member of the David

his wife, Mary Walker of Omaha, one son Raymond Lee Walker of
Shreveport, LA; one daughter Suzanne Horne of Oklahoma City, OK; his
mother Beulah Walker of Weatherford; four brothers, Fred Walker, Nolan
Walker, Steve Walker and Willard Walker, all of Weatherford, two
sisters, Montie Mae Tucker of Weatherford and Nannie Bob Russell of Mt.

San Leandro, CA, and George Byrd of Ft. Worth; two sisters, Kate Smith
