Mary Alice
Haywood was the daughter of Oscar J. & Laura J.Clayton Rivers. She
married Shirley J. Haywood who was born January 9, 1891 and died January
28, 1978. She was survived by a daughter, Edward Mavis Haywood Smith
and a granddaughter Shirley, as well as a grandson, Winston Haywood,
Jr. She was preceded in death by granddaughters Judy Haywood and Alice
Roberta Haywood. Mary Alice�s siblings were Anys Leon Rivers, Conley C.

Viva Mae Johnson, 73,
of Daingerfield, died April 20, 1982, at Hospital in the Pines near
Daingerfield. Funeral services were Thursday, April 22, at 2 p.m., at
the Nail-Haggard Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. T. P. Lee and the
Rev. Ed Young officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery near
Omaha. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Morris County and a member of the
Concord Baptist Church. Serving as pallbearers were grandsons Mike
Allen, Marty Collins, Edwin Collins, Jim Collins, Mike Johnson, Doug
Coleman, Donnie Doss and Scott Johnson. Survivors include two sons,
Earnest Ladell Johnson of Houston, and Danny Ray Johnson of Lawton, OK;
four daughters, Mary Ida Allen of Daingerfield, Viva Ann Stokes of
Aurora, CO, Linda Joyce Collins of Beaumont, and Marsha Christine
Attaway of DeSoto, TX; two brothers, James Odie Davis of Omaha and James
E. Davis II, of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Lucille Galloway of Omaha and
Verna C. Lawhon of Baytown; 25 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

76, of Omaha, died Friday in a Naples hospital after a lengthy illness.
Services were at 3 pm Sunday at Concord Baptist Church with the Rev.
Glenn Griffith and the Rev. Clifford Longino officiating. Burial was in
the Concord Cemetery. Mrs. Jones was born July 14, 1906, in Alabama.
She was a retired employee of Red River Army Depot, a member of the
Concord Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors
include one daughter, Myra Tucker of Richardson; two sons, Tob Jones of
Mt. Pleasant and Ray Jones of Daingerfield; two sisters, Arvella Cook of
Omaha and Myrtle Collins of Blum; eight grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren. (She was the wife of Henry Melton who was born

Marvin D. McCollum, 75, of Omaha, died
Thursday of last week in a Mt. Pleasant hospital following a brief
illness. Services were at 3 pm Friday at the Concord Baptist Church,
near Omaha, with the Rev. Glenn Griffith, the Rev. Dale Webster and
Jamie Duncan officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery under the
direction of Hanner Funeral Home of Naples. Mr. McCollum was born
September 9, 1907. He was a retired employee of Lone Star Steel
Company, member of the Concord Baptist Church and a lifetime resident of
Omaha. Survivors include his wife, Dovie McCollum of Omaha; two sons,
Albert Mack McCollum and M. D. McCollum, both of Mt. Pleasant; two
daughters, Dorothy Gaddis of Duncanville and Melba Webster of Kansas
City; one brother, Earl McCollum of Omaha; one sister, Ruby Smith of

MCCOLLUM, ROBERT LEE April 5, 1917 -- November 14,
1982
Robert Lee (Bud) McCollum, 65, of Omaha, died Sunday, Nov. 14, at his
home following a sudden illness. Funeral services were at 2 p.m.,
Tuesday at the Hanner Funeral Home chapel in Naples, with the Rev. Lanny
Peek officiating. Burial was in the Springhill Cemetery near Omaha.
Servinc as pallbearers were nathan Tefteller, Johnny Boozer, Vernon
Robison, L. J. Forsythe, Tommy Beggs and Bobby Lineberger. Named as
honorary pallbearers were Henry Pegues and Olen Smith. Mr. McCollum was
born April 5, 1917, at Omaha, and was the son of Pearl Phillips McCollum
and the late Arthur McCollum. He was a member of the Rocky Branch
Baptist Church, a past law enforcement officer for Morris County, an
employee of Broseco Ranch, and a life-long mechanic. Survivors include
his wife, Dorothy Hall McCollum of Omaha; four sons, James, Danny and
Randy McCollum, all of Omaha, and Jerry McCollum of Naples; a daughter,
Mrs. Frieda Johnson of Omaha; his mother, Mrs. Pearl McCollum of Naples;
two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Floyd, of Dallas and Mrs. Polly Little of
Honey Grove, TX; a brother, W. G. (Tac) McCollum of Dallas; seven
grandchildren, ten nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. (NE Row

Ross Rivers, 93 of Omaha, died Wednesday
of last week in a Mt. Pleasant hospital following a long illness.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Hanner Funeral Home
chapel in Naples, with the Rev. Glenn Griffith officiating. Burial was
in the Concord Cemetery near Omaha. Mr. Rivers was born Aug 30, 1888,
in Omaha. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Concord Baptist
Church. Survivors include two sons, A. L. Rivers of Omaha, and Ernest
Rivers of College Station; a brother Ivy Rivers of Shreveport, LA; two
sisters, Alice Haywood of Texarkana, AR and Ida Watson of Naples; three
grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. m. 25 December 1912 to Lela B.
(Garrett) b. 30 August 1897, d. 21 September 1973, Lela sis of

Cleola Tigert, 95 of Lone Star, died
Sunday in a Morris County hospital of natural causes. Services were at
2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Concord Baptist Church near Omaha, with the
Rev. Glenn Griffith and the Rev. Norman Crisp officiating. Burial was
in the Concord Cemetery. Mrs. Tigert was born March 14, 1887, in
Texas. Survivors include eight sons, Judge Smith of Omaha, Ruben W.
Smith, George Tigert, Jr., Bobby Ray Tigert, and Billy gene Tigert, all
of Shreveport, Johnny Tigert of Daingerfield, E. L. Tigert of DeKalb and
Wilton Tigert of Austin; six daughters Opal Rivers of Shreveport, Dovie
Churchwell of Omaha, Josephine Terrell of Lone Star, Mildred Terrell of
Daingerfield, Lucy McCollum of Naples and Ruby Ivy of Gladewater, one
brother Bryant Garrett of Mt. Pleasant, 49 grandchildren, 104

Louis Anglo Tigert, 74, of Omaha, died
Wednesday, May 26, 1982 in a Texarkana hospital. Funeral services were
at 2:30 p.m., Friday, at the Concord Baptist Church near Omaha with the
Rev. Nolan Richey and the Rev. Glenn Griffith officiating. Burial was
in the Concord Cemetery. Mr. Tigert was a lifetime resident of Omaha,
was a Baptist and a retired employee of Lone Star Steel Company.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Attress Tigert of Omaha, three
daughters Eula Miller of Douglassville, Jo Ann Hardwick of Tyler and Eva
Marlar of Omaha; two sons Lee Anglo Tigert of Alvin, TX and Pal Tigert
of Omaha; eight brothers Wilton Tigert of Austin, Johnny Tigert of
Daingerfield, George Tigert, Bobby Ray Tigert, Billy Gene Tigert and
Reuben Smith all of Shreveport, and Judge Smith of Omaha; seven sisters
Lucy McCollum of Naples, Birdie Boozer and Dovie Churchwell both of
Omaha, Emma Lee Tigert of DeKalb, Ruby Ivy of Gladewater, Josephine
Terrell of Lone Star, Mildred Terrell of Daingerfield, and Opal Rivers
of Shreveport; and his stepmother, Ollie Tigert of Lone Star; and ten
grandchildren.; m. to Mary Attress Blair, born in Swink, OK, sister of
Steve Blair, Nancy Pendergrass, Katie Willingham, Molean Martin & Horton
