Busby, Bertha Kennedy BUSBY, BERTHA KENNEDY                                                                     October 13, 1891 � August 7, 1975

Mrs. Bertha Busby, 83, of Omaha died Thursday of last week at the David Granberry Memorial Hospital at Naples. She was a long time resident of Morris County and a member of the Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, R. C. Busby.  Survivors include two daughters Mrs. Audra Welborn and Mrs. Vesti Richey both of Omaha; three sisters Mrs. Ardena speed, Mrs. Opha Carruth both of Mt. Pleasant, TX and Mrs. Willie Pruitt of Baytown, TX; one grandson. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Concord Baptist Church with Rev. O. L Kennedy and Rev. Glen Griffith officiating. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery. (Row 39 NE)

McCollum, Harrison Curtis

MCCOLLUM, HARRISON CURTIS                                                           December 19, 1889 - May 21, 1975   

Curtis McCollum, 85, of Omaha, died Wednesday of last week at the David Granberry Memorial Hospital at Naples.  Services were on Thursday of last week at 3 p.m. at the Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Griffith officiating.  Burial was in the Concord Cemetery near Omaha.  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hattie McCollum of Omaha; three sisters Mrs. Ida Settles of Omaha, Mrs. Ethel McWilliams and Mrs. Gladys Patrick, both of Memphis, TX; a brother Cecil McCollum of Colorado Springs, and a number of nieces and nephews.  He was a member of the Concord Baptist church, Woodman of the World, a retired farmer and a lifetime resident of the Omaha area.  (1st wife was Ida Lee Davis; s/o William & Roseanna THOMAS McCollum) (NE Row 37)

Talley, Melvin Carl

TALLEY, MELVIN CARL                                                                             October 8, 1909 � August 12, 1975 

Carl Talley, 65, of Omaha died at his home Tuesday morning of this week.  Funeral services were to be held Thursday August 14 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Omaha with the Rev. Clifford Longino and the Rev. Jack Cox officiating.  Burial was to be in the Concord Cemetery near Omaha.  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vivian (Cantrell) Talley of Omaha; one son Larry Talley of Dallas; his mother Mrs. O. M. Talley of Omaha and four grandchildren.  Mr. Talley was a retired employee of Lone Star Steel Company, a member of the First Baptist Church of Omaha, a member of the David Elliott Masonic Lodge at Omaha and a longtime resident of Omaha.  The David Elliott Masonic Lodge members were to be in charge of the Masonic graveside services. (NE Row 38)

Vickers, Nancy Naomi "Oma"

VICKERS, NANCY NAOMI �OMA�                                                          November 19, 1893 � June 4, 1975

Mrs. Nancy N. (Oma) Vickers, 81, of Omaha, died Wednesday in a Naples, TX hospital.  Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. T. P. Lee and the Rev. Clifford Longino officiating.  Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.  She was a member of the Concord Baptist Church and was a life long resident of the Omaha area.  Survivors include a son, J. L. Vickers of Omaha; a daughter Mrs. Marshall (Beulah Lee) Wright of Omaha; four brothers: Andy Brown of Nacona, TX; Charlie Brown of Dallas, TX; Clyde Brown of Maud, TX and Stanley Brown of El Paso, TX; three sisters Mrs. Ailene McDonald of Big Springs, TX; Mrs. Margie Barrington of Throckmorton, TX and Mrs. Jo Nell Satterfield of Herford, TX; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. (NE Row 19)
