Boozer, Lora Myrtice Vickers

BOOZER, LORA MYRTICE VICKERS                                                      December 21, 1900 - Sept 16, 1972

Mrs. Myrtice Boozer, 71, of Omaha, died Saturday morning at her home there.  Services were Sunday at the First Methodist Church at Omaha with the Rev. Dale Reed and the Rev. Don Dawson officiating.  Burial was in the Concord Cemetery near Omaha.  Mrs. Boozer was a lifetime resident of Omaha. Survivors include her two sons, Vanoy Boozer of Omaha and J. B. Boozer of Dallas; two daughters, Josephine Richey of Omaha and Montine Martin of Longview; a brother B. C. Vickers of Omaha; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Pallbearers were J. C. Wellborn, Arvin Wellborn, Travis Williams, Luther Davlin, James Coffey, Glynn Gray, Alton Gray and Joe Richey.  (NE Row 36)

Parker, Lela Mae Collins

PARKER, LELA MAE COLLINS                                                                 October 8, 1883 � May 14, 1972

Funeral services for Mrs. Lela Parker, 88, of Omaha were at 4:30 P.M. Monday in the Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. Wilburn Bitty and the Rev. Dale Reed officiating.  Interment, directed by Hanner Funeral Home was in Concord Cemetery. She was a member of the Baptist Church and a longtime resident of the area.  Survivors include three sons Oscar Parker of Rocky Branch, Emery Parker of Omaha and Gus Parker of DeKalb; four daughters, Mrs. Bessie Callaway, Mrs. Demmie Morris and Mrs. Effie Wallace all of Omaha and Mrs. Alene Boozer of Naples, 16 grandchildren and 25 great grand children. Tigert, Lucille Davis

TIGERT, LUCILLE DAVIS                                                                           April 1, 1905 � February 14, 1972

MRS.  JOHNIE  WILLIAM TIGERT (LUCILLE DAVIS), 66, of Omaha, died Monday morning in Houston, TX.  Services will be at 4 PM today at the Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Reed and the Rev. Earl Hosea officiating.  Burial will be in the Center Grove Cemetery.  Mrs. Tigert was a member of the Baptist Church and a longtime resident of the Omaha area.  Survivors include her husband, Johnie W. Tigert of Omaha; a son, John William Tigert of Mesquite, TX; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Louis Henry of Dallas, TX; two brothers, Wallace Davis of Cottonwood, AZ, and Travis Davis of Phoenix, AZ; four sisters, Mrs. Lydia Justiss of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Mrs. Lollie Held of Lubbock, TX, Mrs. Jane Eppeng of Muleshoe, TX, and Mrs. Mary Bob Moore of Lewisville, TX; and six grandchildren.

Vaught, Martha Denny

VAUGHT, MARTHA DENNY                                                                      March 6, 1887 -- March 9, 1972

Mrs. Martha Vaught, 85-year old former resident of Titus County, died last Thursday in Methodist Hospital in Dallas.  She was a former resident of Omaha and was a member of the Concord Baptist Church.  She had resided in Dallas for the past ten years with her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Traylor.  Funeral services were held Saturday at the Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Reed and the Rev. Jack Worsham officiating.  Burial was in the Concord Cemetery.  She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Junius T. Reimers and Mrs. Howard B. Traylor, both of Dallas; a son, Earven Vaught of Omaha; a brother, Paul Denny of Tom, OK, and seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  Those from out of town attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Traylor, Mr. amd Mrs. Junius Reimers, Mr. and  Mrs. Jerry Traylor, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shiflet, Mr. and Mrs. Nolan Shiflet, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Isaacs, Mr.and Mrs. Clarence Griffith, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hackney, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Newell and Mrs. Jewel Brunsdale all of Dallas, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Akins and children of Irving, the Rev. and Mrs. Nolan Kennedy of Kaufman, Bill Vaught of Canton, Ohio, Joe Vaught of Daingerfield,  Mr. and Mrs. Glen Murphy and children of Grand Prairie, Mrs. Gerald Guzman, Tami and Tony, Mr. and Mrs. John Beasley, Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Traylor, Clifford Goates and Joe Guzman all of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Henry Rutland and Henrietta of New Boston, Grady Denny of Cookville, Mrs. Edith Berkins of Cookville, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Denny of Oklahoma, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Ingersoll of Daingerfield, Mrs. Claude Jolly and Mrs. Lucille Palmore of Naples and Mr.and Mrs. J. T. Youngblood of Kilgore.
