BOOZER, GEORGE
WASHINGTON
November 5, 1832 June
16, 1926
Uncle
George Boozer
Born in
Alabama nearly 93 years ago and remained there until 33 years ago when
he came to Texas, bought a farm and settled five miles south of Omaha,
and remained on the farm several years. Losing his companion some years
since, he has lived with his children around Omaha and in the west. He
raised up quite a family of sons and daughters, though so scattered that
only two or three of them were with him in his last days. And with a
large family of brothers and sisters: one sister in Alabama and two
brothersC.C. Boozer, Cookville and Wesley Boozer, Aubrey, TX, survive
him. He had been quite feeble for several years, and the past year
barely able to stir a little about home, and a few days before he died
he became past going, lingering until the morning of the 16th
he was called to his reward. His remains were interred in Concord
Cemetery the evening of the 16th after funeral services by
Elder D. J. Talley surrounded by relatives and a host of friends and the
Breeze goes out in deepest sorrow for all the bereaved ones. (Row 26
