- Cyrus W. Wright was born in North Carolina in 1831 and had he lived until September this year he would have been 87 years old, but on the 17^th instant he died of a worn out body at the home of his son, John Wright near Cookville where he has been living several years since the death of his wife and almost helpless the past year or two, though he had a number of children and grandchildren, all of whom have the sympathy of many friends.  He was a charter member of both Omaha and Cookville Masonic lodges, the members of which buried his body with their solemn ceremony.  Also he was a member of long standing at Concord church where his remains were interred on the 18^th with funeral services by Rev. Smith and Rev. Autry. (Row 5 SW)
