Two graves are located on a bluff
overlooking the Sulphur River bottomland north of Naples near the Cass
County Line. Clyde Whitecotton, born in 1900 and son of T B & Nancy,
remembered as a young man that a man and his wife, relatives to the
Whitecottons, died in the bottoms. Due to high water they were brought
to this bluff and buried. The graves were unmarked and have been lost
to time.
Researched by Charles Steger and
Pat Tomberlain in 1999.
