Regional Medical Center. He was a former employee of Allied Van Lines and a
member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Daingerfield. Survivors include two
sons and daughters-in-law James Jr. and Tammie Evans and Keith and Tabitha
Evans, all of Dallas; three daughters and one son-in-law Kathy and Charles
Kelley of Daingerfield, Francise Evans and Nikki Evans of Dallas; his mother

Angeles, Victor and Semia Young of Daingerfield and Anthony and Veronica Young

Everett, 84, of Omaha, were Monday, December 27, 2004, at Mt. Moriah Baptist
Church of Daingerfield, with the Rev. Bertrand Bailey officiating. The Rev.
Everett was born Nov. 4, 1920, in Morris Co. He died Dec. 23, 2004, in a
Longview hospital. He had served as pastor at Hughes Chapel Baptist Church at
Hughes Springs, and was a member of the Unity Association. He served in the US
Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Bennie C Everett of
Omaha; one brother, James W Everett of Dallas; two sisters, Mary L Davis of Ft.
Worth and Bernice Banks of Daingerfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Everett, 55, of Omaha were held Saturday, May 8, 1999 at Mt. Moriah Baptist
Church in Daingerfield under the direction of Turney Mortuary of Mt. Pleasant.
Mrs. Everett was born May 16, 1943 in Daingerfield, the daughter of Charlie and
Josie Douglas. She died Monday, May 3, 1999, at Titus Regional Medical Center
in Mt. Pleasant. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Daingerfield
and had worked as a production worker at Pilgrim�s Pride Corp. for 18 years.
She is survived by her mother, Josie M. Searcy of Daingerfield; sons Michael J
Douglas and Willie D Douglas, both of Omaha; daughter Bobbie Ann Douglas of
Omaha; brothers Charlie Douglas Jr., John L Douglas, both of Daingerfield, J.T.
Shaw, Sammie Mike, both of Pittsburg, and James F Shaw of Dallas; sisters
Charlie Mae Crowe of Lone Star, Mary L. Epps, Linda Smith, both of Daingerfield,
Helen F. Flemming of Mims, Ethel F Stern, Rosemary Shaw, Jolynn Nelson, all of
Dallas and Julie Searcy of Jacksonville; three grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren and special friend Willie George Lafayette. She was
preceded in death by her father and one son, William Charles Douglas.
Pallbearers were Tony Walker, Christopher Birmingham, Jimmy Hendrix Eldunta
Johnson, Vincent Hillman and Robert Johnson. Honorary pallbearers were James
Williams, Eddie Williams, John Mason Jr. and Eddie Hendrix. The Rev. Bertrain

She was a homemaker, and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents,
D. C. and Sallie Rivers; three sisters, Luck, Icclair, and Essie Rivers. She is
survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Pauline and Randolph Bryson of
Omaha, Diann Robertson of Omaha, and Shanda Ann Robertson of Omaha; three sons
