CHUMBLEY,  JANICE LEE                     December 20, 1946 � October 11, 2009

Services for Mrs. Janice Lee Chumbley, 62, of Omaha, were to be Thursday, October 15, 2009, at Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lynn Loe officiating.  Mrs. Chumbley was born December 20, 1946, in Deport, Texas.  She died October 11, 2009, in a Longview hospital.  She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Full Gospel Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Chumbley in 2007.  Survivors include one son, Kevin Chumbley of Dallas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sherri Chumbley of Winnsboro, and Amy and Lance Hampton of Omaha; two sisters, Sue Caughfield and Sandra Tully of Cookville; one stepbrother, Edwin Caughfield of San Antonio; two granddaughters, Kara Sass and Emily Hampton; and several other relatives.  Burial was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home.  (Location Unknown)

DERRICK, HAROLD GRAVES                   March 28, 1928 � August 13, 2007

Graveside services for Harold Graves Derrick, 79, of Naples, were August 15, 2007, at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Omaha, with the Rev. Victor Elrod officiating.  Mr. Derrick was born March 28, 1928, in Omaha.  He died August 13, 2007, in Gilmer.  He was owner/operator of a air conditioning and heating company and was a Baptist.  Survivors include his wife, Virginia Derrick of Naples; two sons, David Derrick of WA, and Terry Derrick of Redbud, CA; daughter, Janet Randle of Naples; sister, Mattie Helen Measley of Omaha; several step-children; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  (Location Unknown)

 

KOURTNEY, JAMES EARL             December 18, 1964 � November 30, 2006

Services for Mr. James �Cowboy� Earl Kourtney, 41, of Omaha, were Saturday, December 2, 2006, at South Jefferson Baptist Church with Bro. Tommy Oglesby officiating.  Mr. Kourtney was born December 18, 1964, in Orange, the son of Charolette Davis.  He died Thursday, November 30, 2006, in Tyler.  He graduated from Vidor High School and was a master bricklayer for 20 years.  He was employed at Priefert Manufacturing as a pipefitter.  He relocated to this area after Hurricane Rita devastated the Vidor area.  He was a member of South Jefferson Baptist Church.  Survivors include his wife, Shannon Faith Flowers of Omaha; three sons, Toby Kourtney and Barrett Flowers, both of Omaha, and Tanner Kourtney of Warren; two daughters, Brooke and Morgan Flowers, both of Omaha; his mother, Charolette Davis; one brother, Donald; and two sisters, Shelly and Edith.  Interment was at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.  Pallbearers included Kris Dunn, Pat Honzell, Craig Easley, Dub Watson, Timothy Matlock and George Warren.  Honorary pallbearers included Raymond McCormack, Robby Holcomb, Ron Withers and Bill Priefert.  (Location Unknown)

 

MOTLEY, RANDY I                         November 21, 1958 � September 16, 1999

Services for Mr. Randy Motley I, 40, of Omaha, were conducted Monday, Sept. 20, 1999 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Sullivan officiating.  Mr. Motley was born Nov. 21, 1958 in Naples.  He died Sept. 16, 1999 in Mt. Pleasant.  He was a equipment operator and a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and a lifetime resident of Omaha.  Survivors include his wife, Wanda Motley of Omaha; two sons, Josh Motley, U. S. Army, Hungary; Randy Motley of Omaha; mother, Pansey Motley; one brother, George Motley of Omaha; three sisters, Christoria Cole of Antlers, OK, Carrie Henley of Deweyville; Rosezine Singleton of Eugene, OR.  He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.  (Row 16)

 

ROYAL, CLINTON CLARA                                July 22, 1944 � August 9, 2003

Services for Mrs. Clinton Clara Royal, 60, of Hughes Springs, were Tuesday, August 12, 2003, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Avinger with the Reverend Robert Gomilia officiating.  Mrs. Royal was born July 22, 1944 in Hughes Springs.  She died Saturday, August 9, 2003, in a Longview nursing home.  She was a member of Love Chapel Baptist Church.  Survivors include her parents, Clinton and Claudia Royal of Hughes Springs and Glen Royal of Avinger; four sisters, Julia Royal of Avinger, Wanda Gaston of Marietta, Claudia Perry Espie of Desoto and Bobbie Coleman of Lakewood, Washington; and a number of  other relatives.  Interment was at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

 

SANCHES, MARJORIE KAY                            March 28, 1930 � May 25, 2000 

Graveside services for Mrs. Marjorie Kay Sanches, 70, of Omaha, were Friday, May 26, 2000 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery with the Reverends Tim Sullivan, Mike Amerson and L. F. Hess officiating.  Mrs. Sanches was born March 28, 1930 in Titus County. She died Thursday, May 25, 2000 at Titus Regional Medical Center.  She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Moriah Church.  Survivors include her husband, Nolan Sanches; one son, Thomas Sanches, both of Omaha; two daughters, Eula Jean Price of Winfield and Claudia Duke of Pittsburg; brother, Harold Kay of Talco; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.  Pallbearers were David Bryant, Forrest Clair, James Dailey, Larry Dailey, Jr., Ray Duke, Ben Garretson, Donald McCain, Vincent McCain, Edwin Ramsey and Johnny Ramsey.  (Location Unknown)

Graveside services for Mrs. Ruby Marie Sanches, 84, of Omaha, were April 22, 2009, at Mt. Moriah Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Beard officiating.  Mrs. Sanches was born October 8, 1924, in Lawton, Oklahoma.  She died April 19, 2009, in Mt. Pleasant.  She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert Davis and Wesley Sanches; one son, Robert Davis; one daughter, Mary Catherine Davis; three brothers, Charles, James and John Holland; and one sister, Esther Stapleton Wallace.  Survivors include two sons, Bobby and Roger Davis of Omaha; five daughters, Gladys Garcia of Austin, Sudie Davis of Lufkin, Rosie Garreston of New Boston, Lisa Castro of Winnsboro, and Betty Huffman of Crockett; one brother-in-law, Nolan Sanches of Omaha; nine grandchildren, Rosemary and Greg Phillips, Kathy and Jacob Garcia, Michael and Sara Garreston, Brandon and April Dilli and Jami Huffman; six great-grandchildren, Kayela, Lauren and Dillon Phillips, Jacob Logan Garcia, and Abigail and Hannah Belle Dilli.  (Location Unknown)

YELVERTON, CUBY                            September 16, 1923 � January 20, 2000 

Services for Mr. Cuby Yelverton, 76, of Omaha, were Saturday, January 22, 2000, at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery at Omaha, with the Rev. Tim Sullivan officiating.  Mr. Yelverton was born September 16, 1923, in Dallas.  He died January 20, 2000, at the Veterans� Administration Hospital in Dallas.  He was a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Merchant Marines and the Morris County Veterans of Foreign Wars.  Survivors include his wife, Helen Measley of Omaha, and a number of friends.  (Location Unknown)
