Yancey Community Cemetery

Yancey Community Cemetery
 Back Home Up

The Yancey Community Cemetery is located on FM 462, approximately 1 mile north of Yancey, on the east side of the road.  I did a complete walk through of this cemetery Dec. 21-22, 2005.  In the older eastern part of the cemetery there are approximately 50 graves with markers that are unreadable.  Birth and death dates are taken from the tombstone/markers.  If complete dates are known from other sources, they are listed under Comments.  Comments in quotes are taken from the tombstone; other comments such as maiden name or spouse(s) are mine.
