Welcome to the Mid-Cities Bluebonnet Chapter United Daughters of the Confederacy website. Our Organization is the outgrowth of many local memorial, monument, Confederate home associations and auxiliaries to local United Confederate Veterans Camps that formed after the War Between the States. In addition to these associations, we are the outgrowth of two statewide organizations, the Daughters of Confederacy (DOC) in Missouri and the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Confederate Soldiers Home in Tennessee. These two groups were in existence as early as 1890, thus making the United Daughters of the Confederacy Organization the oldest heritage organization in the country. We invite you to explore our website to learn more about our organization. |
