We have information in our cemeteries that is from researching, not just from walking the cemetery, and there may not be a stone so it will be easy to prove they were copied. The cemeteries are here for researching and personal use only not for submitting to other web pages. This is hard work of volunteers. This was done by Bill and Betty Sharp (Jan/Feb 2003) 1. Start out going Southwest on US-59 toward BUCHANAN LOOP RD/FM 2516. 0.02 Miles 2. Turn LEFT onto BUCHANAN LOOP RD/FM 2516. 1.05 Miles This should take you to Starlight Drive. Turn Left here and the HUVER CEMETERY will be on your right. It is about 2 acres of trees, brush, and overgrown vines etc. On the southeast part of the land, behind the houses that face Fairway Street is one Stone enclosed with and Iron fence. Researching it is found that Max Huver was born May, 1852 in Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1882 at the age of 30. At the time of his death he did not have a wife or child. He was farming about 40 acres. He had quite a few fruit trees. about 7 1/2 dozen, 11 hogs, 5 bu. of sweet potatoes, 100 bundles of fodder, 12 chickens, corn 90 bu. and 1 bale of lint cotton, weight 503 pounds. Also, 1 horse, 1 heater stove, 1500 feet of lumber and many misc. items such as furniture, tools and household items. While researching the name Max it was referred to as Maxmillian , Max, and Moxey. Also on Huver the different spellings noted were Hover, Huber, and Hoover. Name was also seen as Moxey Millian Hover. The probate records show that a Stone was purchased and an Iron Railing around grave for Max's grave. Also Dr. Few attended him and Frank Krobat worked in nursing him in his last illness. L.
