We have information in our cemeteries that is from researching, not just from walking the cemetery, and there may not be a stone so it will be easy to prove they were copied. The cemeteries are here for researching and personal use only not for submitting to other web pages. This is hard work of volunteers. We have the locations of the cemeteries if you would like to walk it and get your own listing. |

This cemetery is located on US Highway between Texarkana and Nash, Texas in Bowie County. It is on the south side of Hwy 82 immediately west of Waggoner Creek. When the cemetery was canvassed in 1979, by Loretta McCloskey, Mike Wilbanks and Kay Wilbanks, there was an Iron Arch denoting name of cemetery. That arch no longer exists. (This will soon be a “lost and forgotten” cemetery). Permission was granted by Ms. McCloskey to publish her listing of Handley cemetery. Photo's were submitted by Anna Brett. |
