Knox County, Texas was formed in 1858, remained unsettled and was again formed into a county in 1876. It was named for Henry Knox, Revolutionary War General and the Secretary of War in George Washington's first cabinet. The county seat is Benjamin. It's a relatively small county, about 850 square miles and the 2009 estimated population was 3,322 people. Search this site
