Comments: William died at the age of 93 per family history. Enumerated with son, Marcus Perdue in 1900 Kaufman Co. Census. No record on file to verify a 1906 death with Kaufman Co. Clerk's office. "Grandmother PERDUE died in 1884 or 1885." quoted from letter by Blanch PERDUE HEARD to cousin Leila MULLINS regarding her request for family history information. Kaufman Sun, July 31, 1884: Thursday - "Wife of Mr. W. W. PERDUE died Monday."
