The appropriation for high school pupils by the recent legislature provides for consolidation of rural school with a $500.00 allowance for each school.

If two schools should join in building and maintaining a high school, the state will provide $1,000.00 and for three schools, $1,500.00, and so on.

Pupils not included in such high school district should call or rather their parents or guardian should call upon the county superintendent to make transfers.

The State also bears a part of the operating expenses of consolidated rural high schools, including the operation of a bus to transport the pupils when such a program is feasible.

Schools desiring to receive benefits involved in this new legislation should consult the county superintendent without delay.
