Cemetery located south of Sulphur Springs. Take Hwy 19 south to Shirley community. Turn right on County Road 1116. The Old Shirley cemetery is located on down the road, a short distance past the New Shirley Cemetery, on the left hand side of road. It's behind a house - number 925.

Francis M. Stockton, first husband of Lula D.Potts, brother of James Porter Stockton. Inscription: Although he sleeps his memory doth live, and cheering comfort to his mourners give.
Potts, Lula D. - b. 13 APR 1869, d. 29 JAN 1925, wife of Joseph Richard "Dick" Potts. Dick used to mow the cemetery and placed markers where headstones were missing. Brody Koon, his grandson, told me this. Dick Potts is buried in the Greenview Cemetery. Lula D Potts, was the daughter of Sarah Jane Stewart and Nathaniel Clifton. She was born in Texas, mother to four children. Inscription: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith.
