GERALDINE HURT

Mrs. Geraldine (Granny) Hurt, 86, of Itasca died Friday, November 7, 2003. She was born October 29, 1917 in Crescent Oklahoma, daughter of the late David and Bessie Mae Davis Hoisington. She married Milford Lionel Hurt March 12, 1934,and he preceded her in death in July of 1981. She traveled most of her life and settled in Hill County in 1980. She was a Pentecostal and was preceded in death by one son, Milford Hurt, Jr., December 31, 1999.

Survivors include: five sons, Melvin Hurt of Hillsboro, Arthur Hurt of Blum and John C. Hurt, James E. Hurt and Lawrence Hurt, all of Whitney; five daughters, Dorothy Mae Perkins of Gatesville, Beatrice Larison and Anna
Whipkey, both of Hillsboro, Adeline Coleman of Kerrville and Myrtle Hurt of Georgetown; one brother, Paul Hoisington; one sister, Mildred Massey; and three generations of grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 9, at Covington Cemetery with Roger Stewart officiating.
