Henderson County.
Athens, Tex., Aug 19-- Strayed or stolen from Dock Wood,
twenty-seven
miles northwest from Athens, on night of Aug. 15 one black horse,
15 1/2
hands high, weighs about 1100 pounds, branded 75 on left
shoulder, small
scar on left hind leg, 10 years old, good work horse and very
gentle.
Dock Wood, will pay $10 for information leading
to the recovery of
horse and I will pay $15 for the thief. Address Dock Wood
at Aley, Tex.,
or John F. Cook, sheriff Henderson county.
Strayed or stolen from J I Wilbourn,
twenty-seven miles northwest from
Athens, on night of Aug. 15, one black horse mule, 4 years old,

hands high, branded J I W on left shoulder, gentle to work and
ride.
J I Wilbourn will pay $10 for information
leading to the recovery of the
mule and I will pay $15 for the arrest of the thief. Address J I Wilbourn,
Aley, Tex., or John F Cook, sheriff Henderson
county.
