This small family cemetery is located in Whitney,
Texas off of 933. From Hillsboro, go about 12 miles on Hwy 22 west
toward Whitney. From Whitney, take 933 north (right) for about 4 1/2
miles. You will come to a guard shack for White Bluff Camping
Park (have to get visitors pass). Go over a covered bridge, turn right
on Rolling Bluff, then turn right on Trailwood Drive. Cemetery is on
the left about 1/4 mile.
The guard could probably help you find this, if
necessary.
A stone reads Martha Louisa George of Mi. George,
Arkansas and James Monroe Neal of Chickalau, Arkansas were married in
1852 in Arkansas. This Church of Christ Family labored here between
1856 and 1918. They drank from the living water God's Word and that
Neal Spring there in Cedar Creek provided by the Heavenly Lord God of
the Universe.
